Sorry,your browser doesn't support Java.
THIS IS MY VRML WORKSHOP
things I am working on
feel free to check stuff out
The only one I advise actually USING, tho, is the JellyFish

Try this ftp to my VPN
and if that does not work, try this webbittown thing

WEBBITTOWN COVERS THE GLOBE

Almost ALL of these files will require a Blaxxun VRML equipped browser.

Terra planet system
as above, with a viewpoint defined on one of the moons
more variations of the planet system
This one, with a stock share on it

These balls are supposed to behave like a beach ball, you should be able to kick them, by touching, or by running into them, and they bounce away. Once they work right, we can use them for games in CC, some variaton of soccer or vollyball. I think it will be a cute touch, to have the ball actually be an AVATAR, with a personality behind it, so, someone makes a clever goal, the BALL could say 'whoa! that was fun'. Or, the ball could just walk away from the game!
ball avatar ball 10. At least some gestures change its color
The Blaxxun document it seems I need to study, about shared events and objects

Now, this dance avatar is supposed to have 4 partner viewpoints, which can be animated to perform various square dance actions
Ummm. I 'borrowed' a few simple avatars for the default nodes.
A few frames of a rendering of an art studio
done mostly in Canoma

Here is the Blaxxun nurbs example, twisted up, and with control points on it
with control points

 A VRML Jelly Fish

The nurb surface turned into a jellyfish. Not sure what is more expensive in terms of user frame rate, to algorithmicly construct a motion, or to define animation paths and complex surfaces point by point. The jellyfish body is shaped by a script when it is loaded, and it 'grows' tendril nodes that do not exist at load time.  A touch sensor causes the jellyfish to change color based on the position touched.

Wireless Webb
cell phones and the web are beginning to interact.
As a browser, the cell phone is extremely akward at best,
but as a notification device (such as used for receiving stock market alerts),
the potential is largely unexplored.
Webbittown is exploring the use of notification options in cell phones
for enhancing virtualworld/realworld community. An online semi-daily column on current
art events in the East Village, NYC, is being written by one of our officers. A part
of this column is a brief list of pending notable events, art openings, club action, underground scene, 'raves' of note. Generally 'where it is at'
These events are available on the wireless web at
www.webbittown.net/up.hdml
from any web enabled cell phone.
Here is the html version and subscription form.
Subscribers to this service will recieve an alert notification on their
cell phone a few 'New York Minuits' before each event. In action, our savy
and connected officers will keep this event list alive with the most
current, 'happening NOW' information available.

The wrl files that I am actually using are on this ftp site
If you have a remedy, e- me.
